His gaze fell on my face. “Do you not realize that as the person who is married to me, you are the
most suitable candidate for refusing other women? Why would I ignore you, who should shoulder
this responsibility, and instead seek someone else?”
I glanced at Lukas’s expression, which seemed to say that he doesn’t have much time to find other
excuses.
My expression changed again and again. “All right, Mr. Strakovski, what you said makes sense.”
Lukas snorted softly. “From now on, stick with me during the banquet.”
