Elias chuckled, “I don’t think there’s much difference. By the way, I thought you wouldn’t come tonight. Why did you change your mind?”
Instantly, Lukas thought of how he had planned to send Sophia to the hospital, but she ended up willingly getting into Cole’s car.
His face darkened. “Are you so eager to see me unhappy? Seeing that you’re so pleased.”

Elias immediately made a gesture of sealing his mouth with tape, “Okay, I’ll shut up, I won’t provoke you when you’re in a bad mood.”
Lukas snorted coldly and didn’t say anything.
About half an hour later, the takeout arrived. Lukas sat in place, sucking on a peppermint candy, not moving at all.
Elias resigned himself to fetch the takeout. When he received it from the delivery guy, he noticed. another package with Sophia’s name on it, destined for the neighboring ward.
Elias found it amusing and turned to Lukas, “Lukas, the takeout for us and the one next door came together. Let’s go and eat together.”
Luka’s face was stern “I’m not going.”

Elias tried to convince the delivery guy with a playful expression, “The patient in the neighboring ward is my good friend. Let’s make a deal–I’ll deliver the food to her. What do you think?”
The delivery guy hesitated, furrowing his brows, “Isn’t that Inappropriate?”
Besides, he had already reached the door. There was no reason to have someone else deliver it.
Elias knew what the delivery guy was worried about, so he patted his shoulder, saying, “How about this? You wait here at the door while I take the food to the patient inside. You can see me deliver it to

Seeing the delivery guy still unsure, Elias teased, “Don’t be so rigid. I just want to have some fun with my friends.”
The delivery guy pursed his lips. “Alright, I’ll wait here. You go ahead and deliver the food.”
Elias happily raised his finger, “Deal!”
With the food in hand, he knocked on the neighboring ward’s door.
Hearing a familiar voice calling out, “Your delivery is here,” I got up to receive it.
When I opened the door, I was surprised to see Elias’s playful face.
“Why is it you?” I was taken aback.

Elias smirked, leaning against the doorframe, “Why, Designer Lopez? Not happy to see me?”
I furrowed my brows, “The food?”
Elias handed the food to me and then glanced at the delivery guy, saying, “You see? I know her. I’ve delivered the food to her. You can relax and leave now.”
The delivery guy quickly nodded and left.
I glanced at the other package of food in Elias’s hand, feeling speechless. I didn’t expect him to be so bored as to bring me the food.
I was about to turn back when I heard Elias say, “Designer Lopez, since I brought you the food, how
out inviting me to have dinner together?”

Before I could finish my words. Elias raised his voice and shouted towards the neighboring ward, “Lukas, did you hear that? Designer Lopez invited us to her ward for dinner. Come quickly.”
After saying this, Elias casually walked in with the food.
My expression stiffened. When did I invite Lukas over?
